DigiAna Studio is proud to present Feeling on Pavement, a solo exhibition by interdisciplinary artist Ibn Carter (@kart3rr). Known for his material-led inquiry into digital and urban environments, Carter presents a compelling new body of work that reflects on the tactile consequences of living in a hyper-digitized, post-industrial reality.

Through a sculptural and installation-based approach, Feeling on Pavement examines the aesthetics of digital intersectional materialism—a theoretical space where the synthetic meets the organic, and digital interfaces are reimagined as physical surfaces. The show features a striking combination of hand-crafted paper “rocks” embedded with glitch video screens, set amidst printed digital artifacts and layered fragments of ephemeral media. The tension between digital ephemerality and physical presence runs through the exhibition, emphasizing the overlooked materiality of virtual systems.

A key element of the show is its interactive dimension: during the Opening Reception on October 19th, DigiAna Studio will host a live Q&A and discussion section, offering visitors the opportunity to engage directly with the artist. This dialogue will center around the current digital shift in contemporary life and the evolving notion of human identity as it intersects with metaverse culture and mediated experience.

Carter's work poses urgent questions: How are we redefined by our screens, environments, and constructed digital selves? What material traces remain of the identities we simulate, archive, and perform?
