6pm-8pm July 22 2023, Multi-sensory digital and analog (DigiAna) media artist @seungjin888 will present openning reception of his solo exhibition “Our Life” of original work featuring digital glitch technique and hand-drawn painting from July 22 to August 19 at DigiAna Studio, near MoMA PS1 in Long Island City, Queens, New York. “What is human?" "What is our future?"

In this show, his fourth solo exhibition since moving to New York, Seungjin Lee presents his unique painted depictions of current events and the “digitalized mind” incorporating digital-affected cell structures opposite digital images of contemporary life. Digitally glitched, yet hand-drawn, black and white images and paintings express the mix of nature and digitalization of our society, reminding viewers of the phenomena within their minds. Evoking the worlds of Ghost in the Shell and The Matrix, Lee’s latest exhibition challenges viewers to come to their own conclusions about what is real and what is digital. Visitors to the exhibition will also have the chance to see works by other artists in the DigiAna Studio permanent exhibition.
