DXA First Exhibition 2017

The memorable and groundbreaking first exhibition by DigiAna was held for just two hours in a rented studio located in Manhattan. Despite its brevity, the event marked a significant beginning. Among the featured artists were Richard Ford, who continues to be active primarily in New York with a unique style that blends graphic art and Japanese culture; Nicole Salamone, a conceptual artist known for her work in Motamodernism; Roman Kalinovski, an artist and also an art writer; Toru Izumida, now the organizer of Public Visuals; and Seungjin Lee, the organizer of the DigiAna Group. Each of these artists stood in front of their own visual artworks to present and share their individual artistic concepts, all centered on the fusion of digital and analog media. The event became a platform not only for showcasing art but also for facilitating a thoughtful dialogue on how these two realms—digital and analog—can intersect and coexist within contemporary artistic practice.
